Ballast, Hei Ten Shi

The ballast of the Hei Ten Shi was the large spherical object connected to the submarine's topside. It was meant to counteract the immense weight of the Starstone ordinance and was the object that threatened to ram the underside of the USS Dakota. It was destroyed by the Dakota's torpedoes, but the fate of the Hei Ten Shi's other components is unknown.
